What is Olympic Team Handball?

Team handball is a fun and dynamic Olympic sport that combines elements of soccer and basketball. Played on a rectangular court with two goals at each end, teams of seven players (including a goalkeeper) aim to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team's net, without stepping into the goal area (within 6 meters of the goal). The game is characterized by fast-paced action, quick passes, and strategic maneuvering, making it a thrilling spectacle for both players and spectators.

Teamwork, communication, and coordination are essential in team handball, as players must work together to defend their goal and execute attacking strategies. With its blend of athleticism, strategy, and excitement, team handball has gained popularity worldwide and continues to captivate athletes and fans alike. Team Handball is part of the Summer Olympic Games.
